1.-My New Workout Class for the night...
So I was supppppperrrrrrrr psyched because my gym began offering a "willPower & Grace" class and I decided to try it out tonight. It was described as a combination of yoga, pilates, dance & martial arts....I figured "Hey, I like all those things (well, I'm not quite a 'martial artist', so to speak;), so I'll try it out!" And I also was intrigued because the class was taught barefoot, so I foresaw a lot of down dog & tree pose.....
WRONG-O....apparently the other exercise you can do repeatedly in bare feet is SQUATS! LOTS & LOTS & LOTSSSSSSSSS OF SQUATS! I swear, we did a half hour straight! Wow....not exactly what I was expecting, especially considering I went in a weeeee bit hungry. NOT the brightest of ideas! ;) Apparently the "willPower" part comes in because 'you do so many hard moves that you have to fight yourself not to quit'...and the "grace" is from trying not to fall on your ass while your flailing all over in bare feet.
Well, I didn't quit (and I wanted to! Very verrrrrrrrrry badly!) and I didn't fall over...so I guess you could call it a success???? I'd try it again (eventually;), just this time I'd bring a hair tie and have a SNACK BEFORE HAND! ;) hahahahahahhahaa....
2.-Even Tastier Leftovers...
So how else would you reward yourself after nearly dying (BUT NOT FALLING! SCORE!) in an exercise class?? My answer: One last slice of coconut birthday cake!
