And FYI...if a recipe ever calls for buttermilk, but you don't feel like buying a quart here's a simple trick: Mix regualr milk with a little white vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes and it makes an easy buttermilk swap! For this recipe, I filled my 1/3 measering cup almost full with milk and then filled the rest with white vinegar...2 minutes later: Buttermilk!! :)
And what else to do with leftover yogurt? Well, here's my breakfast for today...complete with Farmer's Market fresh Jersey honey;) Awesome;)
Can not WAITTTTTTTTTT to get back to the Farmer's Markets!!! I've NEVER been a spring/summer person, but I am READY for fresh fruits and vegetables!!
