And since I knew the burgers were going to be A LITTLE on the lighter side...I splurged a little on the bread:) I got a fresh Roasted Garlic and Parmesan baguette from Trader Joe's. (you can tell we "sampled" a little while we were cooking:) It was sooooo flavored with garlic, it was almost spicy! DELICIOUS!
And remember the surprise I bought for Scott the other day? Well, I told you it wouldn't be long before it showed up on here:) I bought him.....
I know I could have made garlic fries, but when I saw the bag, I just couldn't resist!! And they DID NOT disappoint!:) The fries came with a packet of "garlic sauce" on the side that you mixed with the hot, baked fries. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! Just look at all that garlic deliciousness!!!!! ....
We served the burgers with our trusty Red Pepper and Goat Cheese sauce...PERFECT topping! Look at that pretty sauce! This dinner was BURSTING with flavors between the beans, carrots, onions, garlic, garlic & Parmesan bread and the red pepper & goat cheese sauce...SOOOOOO Delicious!
And along with a dinner, here's how Scott & I like to PARTY on a Friday Night...wohoooooooo....
For dessert, I tried the Hungry Girl "Pumpkin Creme"...it was vanilla soymilk, 2 tbs. pumpkin (the LAST of the leftover pumpkin;), pumpkin pie spice, splenda & cornstarch (for thickening).
The only problem with this was it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT after it was done boiling, that by the time it was cooled off enough to drink it, I was kinda over it and too full to drink more than a quarter of a cup. Oh well, instant portion control;) hahhahahaha
