Pizza, Pizza and more Pizza:)

Ironically, I'm following up a blog about exercise with this, but oh well:) Everything in moderation, right?

I'm thinking all this snow is just the recipe for a hot pizza from the oven this weekend, so I thought I'd show you a few old pictures of some different pizzas we've made before this blog:) The great thing about pizza is that it's awesome in winter, but we actually had most of these in the summer because we LOVE to GRILL the dough...so, any season, you really can't go wrong with pizza!!!

Oh yeah, and we even though I have all of my Grandmother's old round pans, we have this bizarre fascination with square pizza;) ....

Here's your basic margarita......tomato, basil and GOOD mozzarella...


And your basic white....with TONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of garlic and spices!

Now we're gettin a little SAUCY! Here's buffalo wing...with FAR and few too little scallions!!

Although, never fear! Here's a lighter pizza! "Pizza Salad" (reallllllllllly great in the spring time!)

Blackened shrimp, corn, red peppers, black beans and onions...

Here was my first attempt at a Chicago pizza....fennel is definitely the KEY item in the sauce here...
Next time I'll use just a little (LOT) less crust!!!!!

And the last one we made in December: Spinach, red onion, garlic, mozzarella and WHITE BEAN! SOOOOOO GOOD!

And for kicks, here was an apple crumble pizza I made for dessert last Fall using puff pastry as the crust...(it got a little TOO crispy;)
I'm debating between something basic or one of our old fun favorites for Saturday night...we shall see!! :) Stay Tuned...

YUM!! Is there really anything better than a homemade pizza? I definitley want to try to make the salad pizza. I love just salad and a pizza for dinner...so the two together? Perfection, I'm sure! :)
