Gorgeous Night Out!

Well, after tossing around a few options...we settled on a place to have dinner last night.  More importantly, where we could have dinner OUTSIDE!!!  I highly doubt we would have been able to snag one on the weekends, so Thursday night was the perfect night to hop on over to Federici's in Freehold, NJ...

Federici's is one of  me & Scott's "old-time/first date" places;)  I think he wanted to show off to his new "Italian girlfriend" that he knew a good Italian place to go;) hahahahhaahha....must have worked since we're STILL goin there! ;)

And, just like we hoped, we got a table to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL "September-like" weather last night!!!  Soooo nice, I even needed a small jacket!  (and to think, it's suppose to be 95 this weekend.  UGH!) 

Yeah, we took our obligatory glance at the menu...but knew there was no other options thn the thin crust pizza!  DeLorenzo's is still my favorite pizza EVER, but Federici's DOES make a pretty awesome thin crust pizza!

And not long after, our food made it's way onto the table.  We both started with the house salad with the best, best,  BESTTTTTTT homemade creamy Italian dressing!  There is NONE better, mark my words!  Chisel that on a tablet and consider it a rule ;) hahahahahhahah....

And then, the 'pizza de resistance' (sorry...I couldn't help myself;)  Just check out that crust!  It's the width of a piece of paper and still crackly crisp!! :)  FAB!

Andddd...what would a night out be without ice cream, right???  And I was soooo excited to try this place after passing it on the drive over!  It was shaped like a barn!  <3's it!

They had an OBSCENE amount of delicious flavors to choose from, but after much debate I settled on vanilla peanut butter swirl and "Graham Central Station"...

Ok, now I've had Graham Cracker ice cream before, and it was good...but this blew it out of the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Every spoonful just EXPLODED with Graham AND Honey flavor...plus it had chocolate covered SOMETHING swirled in there...(maybe rice krispies???)  OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!  And the peanut butter was just as good, it just wasn't as big of a surprise;) hahahahhaaha....AWESOME!

Sighhhh...finally Friday, thank goodness!!  Today is a big day!  Our Penny is celebrating her THIRD birthday today;)  And of course, what would a birthday be with out a SPECIAL DINNER for the little furball;)  Stay tuned;)
