Who doesn't love a simple dinner, right??
I started dinner with this fresh loaf of ciabatta bread..
Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do with the rest of it, but I just couldn't resist picking it up at the storeJ It was exactly what I was wishin for!
I topped the bread with my star ingredient of the night: Mango Butter!!!!
Top the ciabatta and mango butter with some fontina cheese and leftover turkey breast + a few minutes on ye ole panini press...
And wallah!
I love a good turkey grilled cheese with pumpkin butter, but the mango butter was a realllllly nice Spring/Summer swap! It's just perfectly sweet to go along with the salty, buttery cheese & turkey. Not to mention that ciabatta tasted crackly & crisp...sooo good!
And no, men out there, Scott did NOT jump on the Mango butter bandwagonJ He went the dinner route by way of some Boar's head Cajun turkey AND Cajun mayo with fontina. SPICE-A!
We had our sandwiches with a side of pretty peppers...
Yes, as in half brownie/half cookie dough!
A sweet marbel cake, filled with a SUPER sweet vanilla cream and topped with more sweet chocolate AND vanilla frosting, plus some brownie & cookie dough pieces. This cupcake was EPIC!
This was another one that I thought was going to be more novelty than tasty, but again Crumbs has proven me wrong. Oy! They're just TOO GOOD!
And since Scott & I BOTH went to bed last night at...ahem...8:30J, I didn't get to upload my pictures until this morning. Which meannnnnnnssssssss...you get a bonus breakfast & lunch post today!
For breakfast, I packed one of these Multi grain waffles that I slathered with...you guessed it! More MANGO BUTTER!
Yet another winning combo!
And for lunch, I packed a craisin, scallion, laughing cow, diced pecan salad with a little Champagne Pear Vinaigrette....
Oh, and a pear AND a 1/2 cup of quinoa in case I get hungry in the afternoonJ hahahahahahaa
So I thought I was excited it was Friday LAST WEEK, but it pales in comparison to how excited I am THIS week! J We're headed to my Aunt's for dinner tonight and off to NYC tomorrow. Fingers crossed the rain holds out somewhat for us!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hi Donna,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. You have a great space as well. I saw from your profile that you are into Yoga!! So I guess we have something in common there. As for this post, I had never heard of mango butter. That looked very yummy to me :)
Oh my gosh, eating at your house would be like eating at a fancy bistro.
Thank you both so much! As I love both of your blogs A LOT! :)
