Get your Trader Joe's shopping list assembled....

Dinner on Friday night went from this:

To THIS:
...in just about TWENTY minutes!  You can't have a pizza delivered that fast! :)

First, I rolled out my 99 cents pizza dough from TJ's.  This time a Garlic & Herb one for some extra flavor...

And since I knew we were planning on having just a plain, white cheese pizza, that we needed something beyond your standard mozzarella.  So when I found this Smoked Cheddar, Gouda, Provolone & Mozzarella mix, I knew I had a winner;)
A few cloves of minced garlic, some Tortola spices and a drizzle of olive oil and this was ready to pop in the 450 degree oven.  The smell of the smoked cheese just infused the ENTIRE house!  Thankfully we only had to wait 15 minutes for the crust to crisp and the cheese to melt....

JUST. SO. GOOD!!!!  It packed such huge flavors from the garlic crust & smokey cheese....plus it helped that it was SUPER crisp since I rolled the dough out as thin as a Delorenzo's pie;)
Quick, cheap & homemade with love, a good Friday night meal makes;)  After that, as predicted, it was a night of Ghost Adventures and an earlier than I'd like to admit bedtime;) hahahahhaa...let's just say the rain wore me down;)

So this morning I woke up bright and early and ready for a lazy bowl of warm, whipped oatmeal topped with a spoonful of peanut butter.  However, SOMEONE was not very happy about this:
Ever get the feeling that someone's watching you??

Yeah, I did.  For my entire breakfast;)
My girl loves peanut butter as much as I do;)

And after some errands and a power yoga class at the gym, I came home and inhaled a Carnation Instant  Lunch Breakfast (Milk chocolate mixed with a cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk) and a handful of a new trail mix I bought yesterday:
I'm not usually a big trail mix person because they can be extremely calorie dense and, who am I kidding, it's not exactly like I'm climbing Mount Fuji anytime soon;)

Butttttttt......this one just sounded toooooo good to pass up;)
1/4 cup is 150 calories...not to bad as long as you can stick to it! :)  But this mix hit all your favorite "snack keys" with the protein & crunch from the cashews & almonds, chewiness from the raisins and of course that sweet chocolate bliss from the mini peanut butter cups;)  Very, Very Good...just don't go back for seconds!! :)

And yes, our dinner required yet ANOTHER quick trip to Trader Joe's;).  This time for the makings of:
Pretzel Bread Paninis:)

We loaded up the pretzel bread with the herbed turkey breast & smoked gouda.  Alittle smooooooooooooooosh in the panini press.....

...and there goes another dinner in under 15 minutes:)

And along the side:

Lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved these fries!  They were slightly crispy on the outside and CREAMY on the inside.  They almost melted in your mouth....love, love, LOVE!

And in quirky little dipping sauce 'news,' I FINALLY broke open this jar I had gotten from St. Lucia last year  (thankfully the expiration date is 2/2013;).
You'd be surprised how good banana ketchup mixes with sweet potato fries;) hahahahahhaha...random, I know....but I thought you'd find that interesting.  Especially because it REALLY does taste like bananas AND ketchup.  And despite what you're probably thinking at this moment:  it actually was tasty!  (believe me!  I was hesitant too...hence the over-a-year-later in my samplings;)

Alright, looks like it's gonna be more Ghost Adventures in our future tonight;)  However, I'll be lucky if I make it till 9 o'clock;)  I'm tiiiiiiiired again;)  Have a great night & a lazy Sunday, everyone!;)
