The gloom & rain persisted all day long yesterday:( So much so that it even prompted a change to our menu last night. I made a quick stop home at lunch to take the leftover Bove's lasagna out of it's home in the freezer because what else would scream "comfort food" like warm & cheesy carbs??
I know...not terribly attractive, but it tasted just as amazing as the first AND second rounds;) This cleared out our lasagna 'stash,' and Scott already mentioned that we need to make a new one again soon;) hahahahahahaha
And sweet treats definitely needed to follow....so I also hit the stash of Crumbs cupcakes in the freezer and tried out this huge little Tiramisu number...
MMMmmm...another coffee drenched cake topped with espresso butter cream and filled with a vanilla cream that tasted like marshmallow;) Can't go wrong there, huh???
And with all that decadence, we also had to mix in:
Thursday Morning: 30 minutes of dance, weights, stretches
Friday Morning: Bob Harper Yoga 1 ....still love, love, love this one!
UGH, and the gloom continues into today with even more rain AND snow mixed in. Even I'm sorta over this whole shenanigans. I'm cravin a grilled veggie salad somethin FIERCE and this weather is not helping my quest:( But on the PLUS side, I am BEYOND thrilled that it's FRIDAYYYYYYY! And after a long absence, it's about time I head back over to Ekat's Friday Potluck:)
Hope you guys have good plans! Tonight shall involve nothing but another 'cozy' dinner, the couch and some Ghost Adventures with my favorite fella. Let it snow all it wants cause we're. not. movin! ;)
