Spring to Winter in 24 hours....

Sooo...from a near Spring-like day to an absolute freezing tundra:  Thus is the life in NJ this week:)  And despite the 10 degree temps from when I went to warm up my car in the morning, I just neeeeded another "Pretty Pink Smoothie" for breakfast:
In my "Damn the Cold" mix: 
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze
  • Vanilla Chobani yogurt
  • 6 frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/4 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
I am a BE-LIE-VER in this chia business...this smoothie kept me full for SO LONG.  Again, I actually don't think I was really 'hungry' for the rest of the day.  I've already googled where I can get a monster container;) hahahahhahahaha.....

But never fear, I did get a littttle hungry when I walked in the house last night to the smell of baked potatoes! :)  And since we had leftover chili, we had one of our favorite "spruce up the leftovers" meals:  Chili Baked Potatoes...

4 ingredients + 1 pot to clean = No fuss, No muss Tuesday!  Plus they're really good:)  One of Scott's favorites  (especially with the BBQ Chicken Chili)
And I'm happy to admit that after DAYS of burgers, chili x 2 and even a chicken salad (make that 2...I also had a chicken salad for lunch yesterday afternoon;)...we are going Vegetarian TONIGHT!  I need the break, cause I'm one meal short of turning INTO a chicken;) hahahhahhaha...

And lastly, my workouts for yesterday:

Tuesday Morning:  Bob Harper Yoga: 20 minutes + 15 minute ab section

Tuesday Night:  Bob Yoga:  10 minute weights

I challenge anyone who thinks you can't get a workout from yoga to try out this video and tell me what you think:)  It's no joke...and it works every time ;) hahahhahahahaha
