Lesson of the Evening....

Soooooooo....we ended up at "El Rio Grande" on 38th Street in NYC last night....
For my much anticipated coconut margarita! I didn't even know such a thing existed:)....
Butttttt....here's where I ran into a snag: because, THE GENIUS that I am, thought that I could pull off good pictures without flash in a dimly lit restaurant. Ummmmm....hello, self! Must have been the margarita;) So I actually had to "borrow" a few of my friend's pictures!
The restaurant made absolutely DELICIOUS Queso dip (which I also failed to snap a picture of!), but we also had table side-made guacamole to start. Soooo good! I HEART Guacamole! (I feel a tshirt coming on;)...
And the picture I took of my Carnitas, which was slow roasted pork in a mole sauce with rice & black beans, was just too dark to salvage:( But let me tell you...it was soooo good!

And thanks to Stephanie, I also have a picture of the Sopapillas! Fried dough drizzled in honey...could that ever be bad?? Yum!!
Overall, it was a really great meal...even if my photography skillz were severally LACKING last night!! Lesson of the evening: ALWAYS USE THE FLASH WHEN OUT ON THE TOWN! :) hahahahahhahahaa...I'll work on it!!! :)
