Actual Size...

I always love when I remember to take pictures of my breakfast & lunch to show you guysJ  Or actually...I love when my b&l is "interesting" enough to shareJ  hahahahahaha...either way, I always hope it gives you ideas on what to pack because I know how challenging that can be sometimes and am ALWAYS on the lookout for different things to keep the day 'interesting" J

Breakfast this week has been a blueberry waffle from TJ's & some strawberries.  I can't say these keep me as full as the multigrain ones, but I thought they would be a good "summertime swap" to change it up....
(PS-still waiting on a VITATOP coupon so I can STOCK UP!  My "stash" is long gone)

And lunch was some leftover Golden Corn & Basil salad with some leftover fruit salad from my in-law's house on Sunday (why is fruit salad always better leftover??) and a snack of a handful of almonds & cashews for the afternoon....
I did manage to find ONE LONE MINI PEANUT BUTTER CUP in that container.  It made my whole dayJ

Anyways, let's role on over to dinner, shall we??

First up, Scott had butterflied some chicken and marinated it in balsamic vinegar for a little while before throwing it on the grill.  I must say, this was honestly tasty enough!  Balsamic + grill char = awesome!

Buttttt...we had a little 'topper' for our chicken in the form of a "Triple Onion fiesta!"  Diced leeks, 2 onions and a bunch of scallions wilted down for a perfectly mellow blend of flavors...
Again, so simple & sooo very good!  And have no fear, I have BIG PLANS for those leftover onions tonight...stay tuned! J

On the side we had the smallest amount of sauteed zucchini possible.... (since the rest of the zucchini went into...ahem...Penny's birthday casseroleJ)

...and of course:  watermelonJ
Another super quick, super flavorful & super simple dinner packed with healthy ingredients = Me likes!

And speaking of "Me likes"...how bout this little box of vanilla ice cream cones I had picked up from Trader Joe's...

However, you should be aware that the picture on the box is "actual size" of the conesJ

But really, what can you expect for 70 CALORIES!!!!!  That's right...one little chocolate covered cone is 70 calories and I MUST say, pretty darn satisfying!  Not too bad of a "less" cone option, right??
OK, OK...admittedly, I ate 2J  But 140 is STILL better than 340 calories in other full size chocolate dipped cones, right??

Alright, hope you guys have a great Wednesday...this week is just movin along!  Probably helped to make the day go quick when Scott & I headed for bed at 8:30 AGAIN last night.

Yes, we're lameJ

Anyway, a have a good oneJ
