Daydreaming...

Morning folks!  If you are on the east coast, I hope you're enjoying this positively GORGEOUS weather we are having.  Humidity: Be gone!  Our high temp is only suppose to reach 72 today!  Can't it just STAY LIKE THIS UNTIL SEPTEMBER???

Anyway, we had another "why does this taste so good" salad last night for dinner.  We had no "game plan" for it, but just tossed in a bunch of stuff from the fridge and it came out tasting absolutely outstanding!
In the mix:
  • Chicken, grilled with Montreal Steak seasoning
  • Red leaf lettuce
  • Diced strawberries
  • Diced avocado
  • Carrots
  • Scallions
  • Craisins
Not sure if it was the grill kiss from the chicken, the creamy avocado or the little tangy bite from the pesto feta, but whatever it was: It was awesome!

So since salads was all I had to offer today, I thought I'd share one more thing with you.  I....I mean, Scott & IJ have been tentatively planning a pretty awesome trip for our anniversary in the Fall, and it was with these thoughts this morning that my brain went into total LOCK of one of my favorite trips EVER:  PARIS!  More specifically...the gargoyles atop the Notre Dame...

Aren't these spectacular????

If you're ever considering going to Paris....just DO. IT!  It is one of the most magical, enchanting, amazing & inspiring trips you'll ever take (in the meantime, you can take a virtual trip by reading here, here & hereJ
Alright...enough daydreamingJ  Hope you guys have a great Tuesday!  Au revior! J

Great salad and I loved Paris when I went, especially all the little cafes with there pastries and bread just piled high ready to be sold, very laid back compared to California!
