Fast food without overindulging....

Monday Recap:

8:00am:  Coffee with creamer

9:30am:  Breakfast- Apple with peanut butter
UGH...not ONLY were the apples tough to come by in our apple picking venture on Sunday at the orchard, but they were also kinda gross:P  VERY watery and not a lot of flavor.  Sighhh...at least Katie's eatin one a day to move along our slim (and BLAND!) pickins.

11:30am:  Lunch- Wendy's Chicken Pretzel Sandwich
So my Mom & I attempted to take a runny-nosed Katie pumpkin picking yesterday afternoon....only to get to the patch and her being sound asleep.  So instead of disturbing her in the car, we figured we'd grab a quick bite to eat since we were pretty hungry by that point and trying one of Wendy's new pretzel chicken sandwiches sounded pretty appealing (I heart me some pretzel bread!) And in order to not make it a TOTAL overindulgent lunch, we SPLIT one sandwich and a small fry....
The 1/2 sandwich and the 5-6 fries I had clocked in around 400 calories.  Not too shabby.  Better than the 950+ it would have been had we EACH gotten a meal.  If you want to go even "less', they do offer a grilled chicken version, but I'd rather cut back 100 calories somewhere else (kept it light the rest of the day) and enjoy the crispy if I'm gonna indulge anyway.  Not a huge fan of  'fast food grilled chicken'...it tastes pretty bland & poached to me.  Get me some good 'grill marks' and it'll be a different story!J

2:30pm:  Snack- Arugula with cheese, trail mix, olive oil & salt

5:00-6:00pm:  Body Jam
So I HAD to head to Body Jam on Monday night this week since it's 'new release week' and I LOVE trying out the new choreography with my Jam buddy (hi, Meredith!!)  OMG, this one is TOUGHHHHHHHHHHH!  Plenty of turns, spins & jumps...oh my!  By the end, I was WIPED!!!!

6:30-7:45pm:  Begineers Power Yoga
Buttttt not wiped enough to skip my Monday night yogaJ  After this class, though, I was DEAD!J


8:00pm:  Dinner- 7 mini pitas with olive hummus 
These hit the spot in every way last night...so much so that I went back and got 3 more after I took this picture!  I heated up the pitas for about 20 seconds in the microwave, so the soft & warm pitas dipped in the cold hummus was even more satisfying for some reason.  Best light/post-gym dinner, I must say!

Oh yeah...and Katie DID wake up long enough to make it to the pumpkin patch after lunch yesterday...

But afterwards, my little sick-face ended feeling worse, so today we're layin low and hanging out in our PJ's.  Hope you're having a cozy day wherever you are too!
