Hi everyone! We're back in town:) We had a wonderful, wonderful and PEACEFUL week away! Hope you guys had a great week and enjoyed the random posts;)
And since we got back on Saturday night, I thought I'd start off the week with a Sunday's worth of "Welcome back to Reality" meals:) hahahahahhahahahahahaha....starting withhhhhhh...some Oats:)
I cooked 1/3 cup of oats in a cup of water and added a teaspoon of brown sugar & a whole mess of cinnamon & pumpkin pie spice! Next I added a drizzle of sugar free syrup and a couple tablespoons of this....
I lovvvveeedd the CRUNCH factor that the granola added to the creamy oats...not to mention: HELLLOOO!!! FESTIVE PUMPKIN FLAVOR! :)
Lunch was an old favorite that we haven't had in a WHILE....but it was a perfect day to reunite with some monsters....
...a couple of Green ones... :)
Anddddd since Scott caught the cold that I had for a portion of our trip, we figured no dinner would be more welcoming and appropriate then some Chicken & Dumpling soup....
HERB dumplings that is! I mixed generous sprinkle of this seasoning into the dough and formed 24 herbed bundles of joy:)...
And these babies blew UP!!
This soup couldn't have tasted better or more cozy on a "settle back in" kinda night:) Love!
Butttttttt have no fear, as I will begin posting our trip adventures & goodies starting Tomorrow!!! But here's a preview to give you an idea of why oatmeal was CRUCIAL yesterday morning:) ....
