So I thought today would be a perfect time to show you some old FALL dishes I had made, along with some recent ones to give you ideas to keep your FALL season filled with festive flavors ...and today, I thought a spotlight on all things PUMPKIN would be PERFECT:) (Again...sorry for the flash in these photos, as these were my "pre-blog" days;)
So here goes...and I'm starting off with a GREAT one! Seeing these reminds me that I have to make them again for a Sunday morning Breakfast:) Pumpkin-Cinnamon Streusel Rolls...SOOOO GOOD!!!
ps-Allow these to rise overnight. I was blown away when I opened the fridge door in the morning and was met with these beauties:)
Even though our butternut squash risotto was good on Friday, I must say: This was one of my all-time favorite risottos. A little effort with amazing results!! Pumpkin Risotto...
This was a super quick and easy one to throw together...Pumpkin & Sausage Pasta...
And this one took a litttttttlleee longer, despite it's "30 Minute" moniker...Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce...
Not to mention that I'm sure my Grandmother is somewhere wringing her hands and saying the rosary that I used *GASP* wonton wrappers in ravioli. SORRY GRANDMA!! I would NEVER do this on a Sunday or a Holiday! :)
Here's a good one for those lazy, cool nights...Crockpot Pumpkin Spice Latte
Annnnnddddd...not to get too far ahead of ourselves here, but this was what I made the fam for Thanksgiving last year: Pumpkin Eggnog. My Mom LOVED this...
And here's a few links to pumpkin themed items I've made more recently:
Breakfast
Dessert
Dinner
Well...I hope you enjoyed my tribute to all things Pumpkin! Stay tuned for another "tribute" later this week:) Have a good Wednesday:)
