Hey ya'll. Sorry for the delayed post...I was in "birthday party prep" mode pretty much all day yesterday (aside from morning Power yogaJ) So here's my 2 day catch up with some 'good' choice and some 'not so good choice'J hehehehehe
Breakfast: (both days)- Almond Flaxseed pancake ...Good Choice
Lunch: (both days)- Pineapple + Coconut water smoothie ...another good choice!
Mmmmmmmm....I've never made a smoothie with coconut water before, but this was a HIT!
- 1 cup coconut water
- 4-5 cubes frozen pineapple
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- Handful of spinach (just becauseJ)
Snack: Tuesday- Apple with peanut butter ...Good choice
Snack: Wednesday- Bowl of Captain Crunch ....not so good choiceJ
Dinner: Tuesday- Baked Buffalo Chicken Nachos with Blue Cheese Cole Slaw ...'better choice'
Told ya it wouldn't be long before we had these againJ
Dinner: Wednesday- Sicilian Pizza from Nino's Pizzarama ...ummmm, do I need mention it??J
All day birthday crafts + the first day of LENT just called for a quick (meatless) dinner, and once pizza was mentioned, I just couldn't help but think of anything but this beauty!
We ordered it a couple weeks ago and I'd been dreaming about it's messy, gooey, garlic-filled, crunchy crust self ever sinceJ It's from a place my Grandmom & Great Aunt used to take me when I was younger, so it always reminds me of 'old school perfection'J It tastes the same as when I was munching on pizza, watching the (FORBIDDEN) Madonna "Living on a Prayer" video from my spot in the booth while it was playing on the TV in the cornerJ

So that's the 2 day recap with it's mix of 'highs & lows'J I'm already chugging water right now to get 'back on track' from that (delicious, delicious, delicious) midweek pizzaJ Here's to a healthier day today! (fingers crossedJ)
