READY??
It's STUFFING BREAD!! As in bread made with all of the flavors of TURKEY STUFFING!!!! Isn't that cool??? The farmer's market had been SOLD OUT last year when we went to pick up a loaf, so it was quite a victory to finally score one this yearJ
And when could this come in MORE than for the classic "Day after Thanksgiving sandwich!" (you know you all make those turkey/stuffing fabulous creations!) And even though Thanksgiving is still a week away, I had just enough leftover Trader Joe's turkey to make an early "Post-Thanksgiving" paniniJ ...
And what's a good panini without cheese?? Not necessary in your classic "turkey/stuffing" sandwich, but once I spied this cheddar with cranberries, I knew it would be the festively appropriate pick! J
I layered my Stuffing bread with turkey, cranberry cheese & a little leftover cornbread stuffing...ya know, for good measure...and tossed it in the panini pressJ
All served up with a side of gravy for dipping...
Oh man, these were soooooo good! The bread was hearty and filled with 'stuffing' herbs, topped with the tangy, cranberry cheese and of course, the awesome turkey/stuffing combo! A perfect way to make use of allllll of that leftover turkey you're going to have laying around next weekJ hehehhehehehehe
We served up our paninis with some fresh sweet potato fries. I just diced up a potato, spritzed em with olive oil & sea salt and popped em in the oven at 450 for 40 minutes. Not as good as the 'panko coated variety,' but a good use of my abundant sweet potato collectionJ
So that's about all I have for you today, but I have LOTS of 'foodie things' going on today, including the LAST FARMER'S MARKET OF THE SEASON...woooosh, where did the time go??? Stay tuned...I should have lots to show you tomorrow. Enjoy your Saturday!!

Yum! That sounds like a great sandwich! And the stuffing bread sounds really good. I haven't seen anything like that!
Stuffing Bread???? WOW!!! That would be great! Could you tell what was in it? Did it have sauted onions and celery bits? Or was it just bread with poultry seasoning? I would love to try something like that in my bread machine.
Thanks ladies! Isn't that fun?? Lynn...yep, it had TINY bits of celery & onion + poultry seasoning. I'd almost guess it would be from an 'herb packet' of Stove Top:) heheheheh...GOOD LUCK trying it out! let me know how it goes!
I just did a quick google search and King Arthur Flour has two recipes but neither of them have the bits of onion and celery....Hmmm I think I still need to figure it out.
